Best Piece of Creative Work

This is a project which I did in high school. The task was to make a plastered head and paint random images and themes onto the head. For my work, I chose to paint one side of the head with warm colours and then the other side with cool colours. I didn't really work with a specific theme but painted according to how I felt or liked at the time. 

A Great Piece of Architecture

The building above is the Liyuan Library by Li Xiaodong, located within a small village of Huairou. The purpose of the building was to provide a reading space for the local villages as well as give them access to various reading materials. Timber sticks are used to conceal the glass facade and blend with the natural landscape. The architect, Li Xiaodong, states himself that the library is about the relationship of a building to its surroundings.

Above is an image which I took in 2014 at the Australian Botanic Garden in Campbelltown. The reason I took this image was because the leaf was really yellow. It's colour and size made it stand out from the rest of the dead leaves on the ground.
